I AM IN LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't put into words how many blessings and iricales have come into m life this week! I know that God Loves these people so so so so so much! Like I feel if I really knew the extent I would cry! The blessings that are waiting for these people here in Gaudeloupe are innumerable and I want to show the the power of God, and have them recognize it! 

You guys probably want to hear about my companion...

We work so well together and the more we get to know eachother the more I see the Lords hand in this work!! 

Sorry for it being pictureless and short but we've had a busy day!

Last P-day in the MTC!!!

Well its my last p-day in the pretty sweet place!! I am beyond grateful for this time! I have learned a lot about myself and what I want to do! I am happy to say I got my visa, and I'll be flying out on Tuesday!! My companions got theirs as well!! I will talk to yall in a bit! Stay blessed and Listen to your heart!

Washington!??!

Well Blessings Galore this week!!!!!  God is giving me plenty of revelation so I can build my faith! It has been super sweet!! Sunday while I was studying trying to figure out how to be more charitable and loving because I noticed well I kinda already knew, but an Elder has like 0 compassion... SO I have been praying and been trying to get some more because the mission will be super long without it! Hey atleast I was show it early!!! So in my notes one day I wrote something about 1 Corinthians and I mean I know for a fact I have read that plenty of times before but when i read it BAM!!!!! It finally clicked!!! Blessed!!

So after I had been reading a talk by Pres. Packer from General Conference and I was told what to work on for this week HOPE! It makes total sense because I am being temporarily reassigned to Washington until I get my Visa! you would think I was going to Brasil or something!! Well i'll communicate the many other blessings another time! Gotta do some Laundry!

The Fourth of No Lie!

So what to say about this week?? It has been SOOOOOO Awesome minus a little bit of sad feelings yesterday! 

SO lets start with sad. Part of District Fiu Left to go out into the mission field! It was such a bitter sweet moment! I didn't realize just how much of a family we actually became! Although I miss those guys it makes me EVEN more excited to just get out there already!! I have learned quite a bit of French language principles this week! Which my companions and I are putting into use! We set a new PVL (Parler Votre Langue) speak your language! We are gonna do our best to use what we know to speak just about all day in french! AGH!! Its not the easiest thing but i've been talking a lot with the Elders going to Tahiti so its coming! 

Now onto the the enormous amounts of things that i learn that are spiritual! I just want to start with how much I LOVE!!!!!!! Sundays!!!!!! It's just an all around great day! So we start with branch council which is always good. (but i wish i was doing personal study like my companions) I am able to learn so much from our branch presidency who are all like the MOST LEGIT PEOPLE EVER!!!! Our Branch president is a Professor of Scripture??? I don't know the correct term he teaches Old Testament, New Testament and Book of Mormon at BYU!! He is a genius! The First counselor use to play basketball internationally, The Second counselor use to be a Make-Up artist in the movie industry (on a serious note he's cool with some guy named Robert Redford?? can't recall of the dome.) Then the most legit out of them all is our third counselor...... He is doing international business stuff right but he was the youngest ambassador in the history of the united states and work under 2 presidents!!! P.s. he chills with President Monson on the regular!! 

For those who are like who is President Monson? Well Thomas S. Monson is the Big Boss or in other terms he is the current Prophet of God! So for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints thats super cool! 

But back to sundays! yeah so after branch council we have church and then lunch and then a temple walk! which is where we just walk to the temple which is like 7 mins aways walking! Then sunday night after dinner and choir practice we have a devotional from someone and then we getting essentially watch talks from the past or churchy films haha! Now these sundays sound pretty normal and chill but I can always see God talking to me so clearly, usually he is like Elder come on lets fix this or asking me to better myself.... Which I love!!! It helps remind me he cares so much about me to take that moment and be like hey! We aren't done yet! 

Its the best!

District Fiu!!

This week for the most part has been awesome I had gotten sick but it's all over now!!! So the other tripanionship along with mine have been having an awesome time!!!! I guess you wanna know what is making it so awesome!?! Well I you gotta kind of think of us as a family and this week we have gotten especially close with these franc-a-phone's  ( I think I spelt that right{ that means native french speaker}) I always refer to them as the Tahitians since they're going to Tahiti!  Now think.... I have these bothers here and then you bring your cousins in!?!?!? It means there is never a dull moment! We started calling our little group District Fiu!! I have actually been pretty cool with them since I got here! I think i really clicked with them because my companions leave the day before I do, but guess who goes to the airport the same day as I do?!! I guess I kinda already gave it away haha The Tahitians!!! When i learned that it gave me a great sense of peace because i don't really know any of the other people that are going to The West Indies with me. They all either speak english or dutch so i'm not anywhere near them.. 

I have really been progressing with the language still slow but hey it's coming! God and his ever present watch has really helped me get over a hump this week! I have been really trying to humble myself and be truly open to the Lords promptings! I know for me the hardest part is waiting through it all for the revelation or just the peace of mind! I mean y'all know I am by no means patient so working on Gods time well what can you say its perfect. Yet my mortal mind wishes it was a tad bit quicker! 

So when I finally waited and got on his schedule he let me know what I was looking for! One of my teachers like last week said that she had a quote for me while we were speaking on humility. Now I didn't receive the quote until Friday but I knew she had it for quite some time. When she finally read me the quote which i had her write down I knew just how much God likes to make us better!! Especially those virtues like patience haha.

It truly is the simple things that teach the most. When i heard this I knew that i already had known this, yet my mind wasn't ready to hear it. I know that there a purposes to every trial. I laugh sometimes when i think of some of the things i make more difficult then need be, because if we saw everything the way God did it would be simple. I've really tried recently to keep things simple and remember that my purpose is to be the best I can be and Help others come unto Christ! I find peace in that, just keep it simple I seriously laughed when I typed this but it's as simple as "What would Jesus do?" Simple Aye?
